Meet the Team
Behind every great movement is a team of passionate individuals committed to making a difference. Meet the faces of Teacher Freedom Alliance:
Eloise Branch (Smith)
Eloise serves as the Executive Director for Teacher Freedom Alliance. Graduating from Grove City College with a BA in history, she has made a career in the education field both as a teacher and an advocate for students with Young America’s Foundation.
Eloise is very passionate about the education system in the United States and is honored to be part of restoring the broken system.
A Colorado native, Eloise loves watching the Denver Nuggets, hiking, and SCUBA diving with her family.
Rachel Maiorana
Rachel serves as Teacher Freedom Alliance’s Director of Membership Recruitment.
Rachel brings over 15 years of community outreach experience. She was raised in Orange County, CA and received her bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton. She was a conservative leader on campus in her time at CSUF and after a decade long career in Audiology, took a position as an advocate for students and teachers with Turning Point USA. Rachel joined the Freedom Foundation in 2021 as the California Outreach Director and most recently served as Freedom Foundation’s Deputy National Director.
Rachel is passionate about education and honored to walk alongside such strong educators taking a stand for what is right. She lives in Southern California with her husband and young sons.
Ali Abshire
Ali Abshire serves as the Community Engagement Coordinator at Teacher Freedom Alliance. She earned her BS in Psychology from Liberty University. Ali brings a wealth of experience working across age groups and educational settings, from high school and college students to individualized support for younger learners.
Previously, Ali worked at Young America’s Foundation as a Program Officer at the Reagan Ranch, where she collaborated with students nationwide to bring speakers to campuses, establish chapters, and plan impactful conferences. She also served as a behavioral therapist, working directly with children to provide personalized educational and developmental support.
She is passionate about empowering educators and students and is honored to support the mission of Teacher Freedom Alliance.
